Food: Food was great here, highly recommend the baked rice dishes especially the Portuguese rice. I think the rice definitely overwhelms the noodle dishes here so looking forward to new noodle dishes! Atmosphere: very Hong Kong / Chinese vibe with nice touch on the aesthetics whilst dining. Price: price correlates with the generous portions for each dish, which is intended for sharing Service: waitresses were super friendly and helpful and so was the manager.
First time we visited Cha Ting today. And what can I say.. Except Wow!! The food was excellent and the deco had a really good Hong Kong vibe. As soon as you walk in the wall of black and white milk really does make you feel in 1 of Hong Kongs cha chaan teng. The foods amazing and the staffs were very polite and friendly. There was a gentleman there I believe was the owner and he was extremely polite and welcoming. (unlike some places) The red bean ice cream drink is a must try. As soon as you take a sip it reminds you of Hong Kong, not forgetting the cold milk tea ( daughters really picky and she's giving the up) If there's a option of 10 stars then it would be a 10/10 we will definitely visit again when in the area. **********
Found this interesting place on Google search when a sudden surge of hunger hits whilst at IKEA. It was late in the afternoon on Sunday so there weren't many people. The atmosphere was relaxing. There are plenty of choices on the menu. The taste is quite authentic. The food portion is on the larger side, so we needed takeaway boxes in the end. Would definitely be coming again to try more items.
I had an amazing dining experience here! Every dish was absolutely delicious. The **Baked Pork Chop Rice** was perfectly cooked with a rich, flavorful sauce that made it a standout. The **Garlic Chicken Wings** were crispy and packed with flavor, a real treat. The **Pineapple Fried Rice** was the perfect balance of sweet and savory, a must-try for anyone who loves a bit of tropical flavor. And the **Black Pepper Beef Spaghetti** was simply fantastic, with tender beef and just the right amount of spice. On top of the great food, the owner and staff were incredibly friendly, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommended!
We had a lovely meal at Cha Ting yesterday, Valentine's Day. Our first visit there. We chose the special Valentine's Day set menu. All courses were delicious. Each course was almost a meal in itself, so we took some leftovers home to finish today. We will want to go back to Cha Ting. Next time, we will choose fewer courses and look for some lighter options with more vegetables to balance the dishes with rich sauces, pastry and batter. Hospitality was brilliant and friendly. It is quite a new restaurant, and we wish the team every success as they continue to establish themselves.
PORTION IS AMAZING! Tastes good and authentic! Was craving for wanton mee and this place in Sheffield really satisfied my cravings. French toast was amazing too! I would definitely come back again.

This was our first visit to Cha Ting and we will definitely be back. The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming and chilled with the perfect level of service. We had Portuguese chicken rice, salt and pepper aubergine as savory and their only pudding which was peanut butter french toast with condensed milk and ice cream to share. Squashed lime iced tea each to drink in a huge glass. Absolutely delicious and perfect portion size which is a really nice change. On top of this, the prices were surprisingly reasonable, how refreshing I thoroughly recommend visiting and will see you again, on a regular basis.
